Join the University of New Mexico Hospitals as a Radiology Technologist, where you will provide critical patient services in a Level I Trauma Center. You will perform essential radiographic procedures while ensuring high-quality service and adherence to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures including portables and in the OR
Follow prescribed techniques for administering x-rays and adjust equipment
Evaluate filming for technical qualities and provide corrective action
Document patient reactions or problems and report to supervisor
Assume care for patients during examinations and procedures
Assist physician with imaging process and follow department protocols
Participate in quality control programs and provide instruction as needed
Maintain stock supply levels and clean assigned area
Instruct units of clinical education as required
Enhance professional growth through educational programs and workshops
Follow patient safety-related policies and encourage patient participation
Required Qualifications
Program Graduate
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists License
New Mexico Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Program License
