Key Responsibilities
Provide nursing care and patient education in an ambulatory setting
Assist in patient needs assessment, vital signs, and medical history
Administer medication and monitor results
Perform treatments and assist medical staff with procedures
Orient new staff and participate in quality assurance activities
Assist with emergency measures for adverse patient developments
Ensure maintenance of patient areas and documentation of care activities
Promote patient safety and encourage patient participation in their care
Required Qualifications
Program Graduate
LPN Accredited Program Graduate
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
Licensed Practical Nurse in NM or reciprocal agreement
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual in English and Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
2 years directly related experience
