Job Description
Join the University of New Mexico Hospital as a PACU Registered Nurse, where you'll provide exceptional care in a fast-paced environment. Your role involves critical assessments and patient care pre- and post-surgery, making a meaningful impact on patients' recovery journeys.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver safe direct care to assigned patients
Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement and document individualized care plans
Assist with special tests and procedures
Participate in orientation and assume precepting responsibilities
Administer medication and document clinical findings
Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients
Follow patient safety protocols
Required Qualifications
Program Graduate
1 year directly related experience
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
RN in New Mexico or as allowed by reciprocal agreement
Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Bilingual in English and Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
