Join a mission-driven outpatient palliative care team at the University of New Mexico Hospitals as a Registered Nurse. You'll provide compassionate patient care while mentoring staff and enhancing the quality of life for those with serious illnesses.
Key Responsibilities
Provide safe, direct patient care utilizing the nursing process in the ambulatory setting
Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to staff
Administer medications and perform routine treatments
Document nursing care and ensure physician's orders are carried out
Assist with emergency measures for adverse patient developments
Educate patients and families about preventive care and medical issues
Required Qualifications
Program Graduate
Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Bilingual in English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
3 years directly related experience
