Join the University of New Mexico - Hospitals as a CPR Registered Nurse where you will be responsible for the independent planning and execution of patient care in an ambulatory specialty practice. This role emphasizes coordination, collaboration, and education to ensure optimal care for patients across various age groups.
Key Responsibilities
Perform all RN nursing duties in specialty clinic
Coordinate all activities related to patient care
Serve as liaison between patient/family and healthcare team
Counsel and teach families about medical conditions and interventions
Facilitate the delivery of services for optimal patient care
Participate in specialty programs and committees
Conduct educational engagements for public relations
Provide statistical reports as needed
Review lab and diagnostic work for specialty evaluations
Collaborate with community physicians for patient care
Required Qualifications
Program Graduate
Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate
3 years directly related experience
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuer within 30 days
RN in NM or as permitted by reciprocal agreement
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Bilingual in English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
