Job Description

UC Davis Health School of Medicine is seeking a dedicated and innovative Labor and Delivery Hospitalist to join the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology in the division of University Women s Health (UWH). UC Davis delivers approximately two thousand babies a year, has a level III NICU, and serves a high-risk obstetric population. As Sacramento s No. 1 hospital, we re proud to offer the extraordinary expertise of our region s only academic medical center.

Highlights:

  • Schedule: Full and Part time and offers 12 hour shift
  • Call Schedule: Occasional outpatient care; daytime laborist on labor and delivery; obstetric day call; obstetrical night call in-house; at home gynecology call in rotation; and inpatient nighttime hospitalist duties on labor and delivery, including urgent and emergent gynecologic surgery
  • Support Team Includes: multidisciplinary healthcare team

Qualifications:

  • Candidates must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for a California medical license.
  • Successful candidates must be board certified / eligible in OBGYN
