Join Kaiser as a Psychologist in the Depression Care Program, where you'll provide essential mental health services, including assessment, treatment, and crisis intervention for diverse populations. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care and support family involvement.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and evaluate clinical treatment programs for mental health
Provide outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups
Conduct psychological assessments and prepare treatment plans
Collaborate with physicians on psychotropic medications
Provide consultation to other care providers regarding mental health
Required Qualifications
PhD/PsyD/EdD in Clinical Counseling, Health or School Psychology
Psychologist License (California) within 6 months of hire
National Provider Identifier required at hire
Familiarity with DSM-V for diagnosis
Experience in assessing, diagnosing and treating psychiatric conditions
Knowledge of Evidence-Based Practice and psychotherapy research methods
Competence in individual, family and group psychotherapy
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Previous clinical responsibility to include crisis intervention, individual and group psychotherapy
Experience in psychological evaluations of adults, children, adolescents, & families
Professional maturity and ethical integrity
Demonstrated commitment to quality of service and teamwork
