Job Description

Join Kaiser as a Psychologist in the Depression Care Program, where you'll provide essential mental health services, including assessment, treatment, and crisis intervention for diverse populations. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care and support family involvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and evaluate clinical treatment programs for mental health
  • Provide outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups
  • Conduct psychological assessments and prepare treatment plans
  • Collaborate with physicians on psychotropic medications
  • Provide consultation to other care providers regarding mental health

Required Qualifications

  • PhD/PsyD/EdD in Clinical Counseling, Health or School Psychology
  • Psychologist License (California) within 6 months of hire
  • National Provider Identifier required at hire
  • Familiarity with DSM-V for diagnosis
  • Experience in assessing, diagnosing and treating psychiatric conditions
  • Knowledge of Evidence-Based Practice and psychotherapy research methods
  • Competence in individual, family and group psychotherapy
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous clinical responsibility to include crisis intervention, individual and group psychotherapy
  • Experience in psychological evaluations of adults, children, adolescents, & families
  • Professional maturity and ethical integrity
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality of service and teamwork
