Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Perform all RN Nursing duties
Coordinate all activities of the specialty related to patient care
Serve as liaison between patient/family and healthcare team
Counsel and teach families on medical conditions and interventions
Facilitate the delivery of services for specialty patients
Collaborate with specialty team on patient candidacy
Participate in specialty-related programs and committees
Conduct educational engagements
Provide statistical reports as needed
Rotate on-call including holidays and weekends
Review lab and diagnostic work for specialty evaluation
Direct and coordinate educational activities for hospital employees
Collaborate with community physicians on patient care
Coordinate diagnostic procedures for complications post-surgery
Manage patient care caseload pre and post operative
Maintain departmental policies and procedures
Ensure patient safety by following protocols and reporting concerns
Required Qualifications
Program Graduate
Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate
3 years directly related experience
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Bilingual in English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
