Job Description
Join the University of New Mexico - Hospitals as a CPR Registered Nurse, where you'll provide essential nursing care in a psychiatric environment. You'll design care plans, administer treatments, and support patients and families in their recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities
Provide professional nursing care for psychiatric patients
Design and implement nursing care plans
Ensure adherence to hospital and departmental policies
Observe patient behavior and perform triage and crisis intervention
Administer medications and treatments
Educate patients and families on treatment regimens
Coordinate communication between patients, families, and medical staff
Participate in professional development and education programs
Required Qualifications
Program Graduate
Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Bilingual in English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
1 year directly related experience
