Join the University of New Mexico - Hospitals as a Radiology Technologist where you'll provide vital patient services in a Level I Trauma Center. You will perform diagnostic procedures and ensure quality care while adhering to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures including portables and the OR
Follow prescribed techniques to administer x-rays and adjust equipment
Evaluate filming for technical qualities and provide corrective action
Observe patient and equipment during procedures and document reactions
Assume care for the physical needs of patients during examinations
Assist physician with imaging process and follow department protocols
Maintain supply levels and clean assigned areas
Instruct clinical education to students and staff
Participate in quality control programs
Ensure patient safety and compliance with protocols
Required Qualifications
Program Graduate
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists License
NM Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Program License
