Job Description
Join Kaiser as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) where you'll play a critical role in patient care by administering anesthesia safely and effectively. You'll monitor patients' vital signs and reactions, ensuring optimal care during surgical procedures. Be part of a collaborative anesthesia care team and make a difference in patients' lives.
Key Responsibilities
Selects and administers intravenous, spinal and other anesthetics during medical procedures
Monitors patient reactions and vital signs during and after anesthesia
Submits postoperative reports on patient condition and maintains records of anesthetics administered
Conducts anesthetic evaluations of patients prior to surgical procedures
Explains tests and procedures to patients and their families
Mixes solutions to required concentrations and performs procedures outside of the operating room
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program
Graduate of an accredited school of anesthesia by date of hire
High School Diploma or GED
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (California) required at hire
Registered Nurse License (California) required at hire
