Job Description
As an Outpatient Supervisor RN at the University of New Mexico - Hospitals, you will lead and supervise nursing staff while ensuring high-quality patient care. You will utilize independent judgment to assign staff and maintain a therapeutic environment for diverse patient groups.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise nursing and technician staff and patient care delivery
Assign nursing personnel to specific patients
Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients
Act as a liaison between physicians, staff, patients, and families
Deliver safe direct care to assigned patients
Participate in staff training and orientation
Required Qualifications
Program Graduate
2 years directly related experience
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Bilingual in English and native languages (Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo)
Nationally Certified in area of specialty
