Job Description

As an Outpatient RN Supervisor, you will lead nursing staff in providing quality patient care, manage staffing assignments, and ensure adherence to hospital policies. This role offers a supportive environment with opportunities for professional growth and a focus on patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assign nursing personnel and staff to specific patients using independent judgment
  • Supervise employees and manage staff schedules and assignments
  • Provide clinical leadership and ensure adequate staffing for patient care
  • Act as a liaison between physicians, staff, and patients
  • Delegate and monitor completion of duties according to departmental policies
  • Deliver safe direct care to assigned patients
  • Participate in the orientation and evaluation of new personnel

Required Qualifications

  • Program Graduate
  • Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate
  • 2 years directly related experience
  • CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
  • RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Bilingual in English and Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
  • Nationally Certified in area of specialty
