Key Responsibilities
Provide professional nursing care for assigned patients in a mental health/psychiatric environment
Design nursing care plans and assist in the development of overall care plans for psychiatric patients
Administer medication and treatment; provide and coordinate nursing care of assigned patients
Facilitate group therapy and/or education sessions
Educate patients and families on treatment regimens and management of side effects
Follow established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives
Enhance professional growth through participation in educational programs
Required Qualifications
Program Graduate
Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
Registered Nurse in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement
IV Certification within 6 months of date of position
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Bilingual in English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
