Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, develop, implement, and evaluate clinical and non-clinical educational programs
  • Ensure adherence to hospital and departmental policies
  • Follow patient safety-related policies and procedures
  • Identify and report patient safety concerns
  • Develop instructional programs based on educational needs
  • Implement educational curricula utilizing adult learning principles
  • Monitor and evaluate educational program outcomes
  • Maintain current knowledge and competency in the field
  • Provide leadership and create a healthy work environment

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related discipline
  • Master's Degree (within 36 months of assignment)
  • 3 years directly related experience
  • CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
  • RN license in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement
  • CPR, ALS, or ILS Age Appropriate Instructor Certification within 6 months

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
