Job Description
Join the University of New Mexico - Hospitals as a Registered Nurse, where you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to Ambulatory Specialty Practice patients. Key Responsibilities
Perform all RN Nursing duties
Assist in specialty clinic; triage patients as necessary
Serve as liaison between patient/family and healthcare team
Counsel and teach families regarding medical conditions and interventions
Coordinate and facilitate delivery of services for optimal patient care
Collaborate with specialty team about patient candidacy
Participate in educational opportunities and workshops
Provide statistical reports as needed
Rotate on call including holidays, nights, and weekends
Review lab and diagnostic work for specialty evaluation
Direct management of patient care caseload pre and post-operative
Required Qualifications
Program Graduate
3 years directly related experience
RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Prov or Prof Rescuers within 30 days
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Bilingual English/Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
