Job Description
Join Advocate Aurora as an MRI Technologist and play a crucial role in patient care by performing MRI scans, ensuring safety, and collaborating with healthcare teams to provide accurate diagnoses.
Key Responsibilities
Examine requests and verify orders on each assigned patient
Prepare and assist patients for MRI procedures
Interview patients for medical history and document appropriately
Perform MRI scanning and assist physicians during procedures
Evaluate technical quality of images and consult with a radiologist as needed
Practice radiation safety and maintain a clean work area
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited two-year AMA approved program in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology
ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine
Advanced registry from the ARMRIT or ARRT in MRI within one year of hire
Current CPR certification
