Job Description
Join the ASPCA as a Licensed Veterinary Technician at our Adoption Center, where you'll provide high-quality nursing care to at-risk animals. Key Responsibilities
Provide nursing care and veterinary support
Assist veterinarians with examinations and treatments
Document and communicate patient concerns
Clean and disinfect kennels and equipment
Ensure a safe environment for animals and staff
Take inventory and stock supplies
Required Qualifications
Licensed Veterinary Technician
Knowledge of veterinary medical concepts, protocols, and procedures
Critical thinking and multi-tasking skills
Excellent low-stress animal handling and restraint skills
Customer service skills
Strong organizational skills
Basic computer skills
Preferred Qualifications
1-3 years veterinary hospital and/or shelter experience
