Job Description
Join the University of New Mexico Hospitals as a Clinical Counselor Social Worker to provide vital psychosocial evaluation and therapeutic services in a high-intensity clinical environment. This role offers the opportunity to lead and train a team while making a significant impact on patient care across various clinics.
Key Responsibilities
Provide counseling, therapy, and psychotherapy to clients and families
Prepare treatment plans and follow-up care programs
Consult with other therapists and professionals
Provide therapeutic interventions including crisis interventions
Refer clients to appropriate service agencies
Document treatment and case management activities
Train and supervise lower level counselors and interns
Participate in administrative functions and research projects
Required Qualifications
Master's Degree in a related discipline
3 years of directly related experience
LPCC/CMHC or LCSW or LMFT credential in New Mexico
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual in English and Spanish or other native languages
