The Bilingual RN at the University of New Mexico - Hospitals is responsible for independent planning and evaluation of patient care in the Orthopaedics Clinic. This role involves direct patient care, coordination of specialty services, and collaboration with healthcare teams to ensure optimal outcomes for patients across all age groups.
Key Responsibilities
Perform all RN nursing duties in specialty clinic
Coordinate patient care activities
Serve as liaison between patient/family and healthcare team
Counsel and teach families regarding medical conditions
Participate in educational opportunities and workshops
Collaborate with community physicians on patient care
Required Qualifications
Program Graduate
3 years directly related experience
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Bilingual in English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
2 years directly related experience
