Job Description
As a Child Life Specialist, you will provide essential support and therapeutic interventions for pediatric patients and their families, ensuring adherence to hospital policies while promoting emotional and psychosocial well-being. Key Responsibilities
Provide therapeutic and crisis intervention for pediatric patients and families
Conduct needs assessments and developmental screenings
Supervise playrooms and educational sessions
Document patient care services in compliance with standards
Advocate for patient concerns and rights
Plan and provide therapeutic interventions for emotional needs
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Child Life Internship
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
Child Life Certification within 1 year of position
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree
Bilingual in English and Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
