Job Description
Join the University of New Mexico Hospitals as a CPR Registered Nurse to provide excellent patient care and mentorship in a supportive environment. You'll play a crucial role in clinical leadership and patient education while ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Provide safe, direct patient care utilizing the nursing process in the ambulatory setting
Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to staff
Offer full range of patient education to patients and families
Adhere to and promote Patient Centered Medical Home expectations
Assist physicians with special tests and complex treatments
Document nursing care and ensure physician's orders are followed
Participate in orientation and evaluation of new personnel
Ensure patient safety by following protocols and reporting concerns
Required Qualifications
Program Graduate
Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Bilingual in English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
3 years directly related experience
