Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures, including portables and the OR
Administer general and specific x-rays, adjust equipment, and calculate exposure factors
Evaluate filming for technical qualities and improve quality
Document patient reactions and report issues to supervisor
Assist in patient care during examinations and procedures
Follow radiation safety standards and maintain a safe environment
Participate in quality control programs and instruct students and staff as needed
Required Qualifications
Program Graduate
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists License
New Mexico Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Program License
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a trauma center
