Key Responsibilities
Provide professional nursing care for psychiatric patients
Design nursing care plans and assist in overall care plan development
Administer medication and treatment, including IV medication
Educate patients and families on treatment regimens and side effects
Ensure adherence to hospital and departmental policies and procedures
Participate in orientation and evaluation of new personnel
Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for patients
Required Qualifications
Program Graduate
Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate
RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
Obtain and maintain Aggressive Behavior Certification within 30 days of hire
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Bilingual in English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
1 year directly related experience
