Key Responsibilities
Provide safe, direct patient care utilizing the nursing process
Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to staff
Educate patients and their families about preventive care and medical issues
Assist physicians with special tests and complex treatments
Document nursing care and ensure follow-up on patient conditions
Participate in orientation and evaluation of new personnel
Ensure adherence to hospital and departmental policies
Required Qualifications
Program Graduate
Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
Registered Nurse in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Bilingual in English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
3 years directly related experience
