Key Responsibilities
Provide educational leadership to enhance specialized patient care
Initiate unit-based strategies for developing clinical skills
Perform as a unit educator and clinical instructor
Develop patient plans of care incorporating evidence-based research
Consult with and serve as a clinical resource for the multidisciplinary team
Educate staff in the use of new equipment and conduct training
Assist patients and caregivers with educational needs
Collaborate on curricula planning with clinical educators
Monitor trends and implement educational strategies
Deliver safe direct care to patients
Administer medications and document clinical findings
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
BSN or MSN
18 months directly related experience
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM
Instructor in Unit-Required Certifications within 90 Days
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree
3 years directly related experience
Bilingual in English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
Current Instructor in BLS, ACLS, NRP or other instruct certifications
