Requirements
- Current RN license and good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
- Current AHA BLS certification.
- Minimum of 1 year experience as an Acute Rehab RN within the last year.
- Strong ability to assess, plan, coordinate, evaluate and delegate the delivery of rehabilitation patient care, as well as demonstrate critical thinking, and consistency in following established processes.
- Must maintain working knowledge of specific rehabilitation skills, and competency in administering medications, including IV medications, starting peripheral IVs, and administering various treatments included in the patient’s plan of care.
- Strong familiarity in caring for patients post stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, and various orthopedic conditions.
