Job Description
Join the University of New Mexico Hospitals as a Bilingual RN, providing essential nursing care in a psychiatric setting. You'll create and implement care plans, support patients and families, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, all while benefiting from competitive compensation and support for relocation.
Key Responsibilities
Provide professional nursing care for assigned patients in a mental health/psychiatric environment
Design nursing care plans for psychiatric patients
Administer medication and treatments
Educate patients and families on treatment regimens
Perform various administrative functions and assist with research projects
Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients
Required Qualifications
Program Graduate
Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate
RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Bilingual in English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
1 year directly related experience
