Key Responsibilities
Provide educational leadership to enhance specialized patient care
Initiate unit-based strategies for developing clinical skills
Perform as a unit educator and clinical instructor
Develop patient plans of care incorporating evidence-based research
Consult and serve as a clinical resource for the multidisciplinary team
Educate staff in the use of new equipment and supplies
Assist patients and caregivers with educational needs
Collaborate with the Clinical Educator and other nursing professionals
Monitor trends and implement educational strategies
Deliver safe direct care to an assigned group of patients
Follow patient safety-related policies and protocols
Administer medication and document clinical findings
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
BSN or MSN
18 months directly related experience
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuer within 30 days
RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM
Instructor in Unit-Required Certifications within 90 Days
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree
Bilingual in English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
3 years directly related experience
Current Instructor in BLS, ACLS, NRP or other instructor certifications
