Job Description

Join the University of New Mexico Hospitals as a Nursing Faculty member, where you'll lead educational initiatives, provide specialized patient care, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities

  • Function as unit educator and master teacher
  • Develop patient plans of care incorporating evidence-based research
  • Consult with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care
  • Educate staff on new equipment and coordinate training
  • Deliver safe direct care to assigned patients
  • Monitor trends and implement educational strategies

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN or MSN)
  • 18 months directly related experience
  • CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
  • RN license in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree
  • Bilingual in English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
  • 3 years directly related experience
  • Current Instructor in BLS, ACLS, NRP or other instruct certifications
