The Bilingual RN will provide direct patient care in an ambulatory setting while leading and mentoring staff. This role emphasizes patient education and the implementation of safety protocols for diverse patient age groups.
Key Responsibilities
Provide safe, direct patient care utilizing the nursing process in the ambulatory setting
Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to staff
Serve as a role model and provide full range of patient education
Assist physician with special tests, procedures, and complex treatments
Document patient care and ensure adherence to hospital policies
Coordinate patient care with procedures from other departments
Assist with emergency measures for adverse patient developments
Participate in training and evaluation of new personnel
Required Qualifications
Program Graduate
Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
Registered Nurse (RN) in New Mexico or as allowed by reciprocal agreement
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Bilingual in English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
3 years directly related experience
