Job Description

The Registered Nurse - Inpatient will provide direct nursing care to patients across various age groups, ensuring adherence to hospital policies and delivering high-quality care. The role includes responsibilities such as administering medication, collaborating with healthcare teams, and participating in staff training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe direct care to assigned patients
  • Ensure adherence to hospital and departmental policies
  • Implement and document individualized care plans
  • Assist with special tests and procedures
  • Participate in orientation and training of new personnel
  • Administer medication and document clinical findings
  • Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment

Required Qualifications

  • Program Graduate
  • Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate
  • CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
  • RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Bilingual English/Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
  • Nationally Certified in area of specialty
  • PALS
  • TNCC and/or ENPC
