Job Description
Join the University of New Mexico - Hospitals as a CPR Registered Nurse, providing vital patient care in an ambulatory setting. You will play a key role in patient education and clinical leadership while ensuring safety and adherence to protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Provide safe, direct patient care utilizing the nursing process
Clinical leadership and mentorship for staff
Patient education for patients and families
Ensure adherence to hospital and departmental policies
Assist with special tests, procedures, and complex treatments
Coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments
Document nursing care and monitor patient safety
Required Qualifications
Program Graduate
Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
3 years directly related experience
Bilingual in English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
