Job Description
Join the University of New Mexico Hospitals as a CPR RN, providing essential nursing care in a mental health setting. You will design care plans, administer treatments, and support patients and families through their recovery journeys.
Key Responsibilities
Provide professional nursing care for assigned patients in a mental health/psychiatric environment.
Design and implement nursing care plans for psychiatric patients.
Administer medication and treatments, and facilitate group therapy or education sessions.
Monitor and document patient behavior and health status.
Educate patients and families on treatment regimens and compliance.
Participate in professional development and educational programs.
Required Qualifications
Program Graduate
Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Bilingual in English and Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
1 year directly related experience
