Job Description
As a Counselor Social Worker, you will deliver comprehensive psychosocial support in a high-intensity clinical setting. This role involves providing therapy, crisis intervention, and case management while leading and training other counselors and interns. Key Responsibilities
Provide counseling, therapy, and/or psychotherapy to clients and families
Prepare treatment plans, discharge plans, and follow-up care programs
Consult with other professionals in therapeutic and/or casework
Provide crisis intervention for individuals with serious emotional disturbances
Refer clients to appropriate social service agencies
Document treatment effectiveness and modify therapy as needed
Provide clinical supervision to lower-level therapists and students
Participate in administrative functions and research projects
Promote best practices in treatment and enhance professional growth
Required Qualifications
Master's Degree in a related discipline
LPCC/CMHC or LCSW or LMFT in New Mexico
3 years of directly related experience in age-appropriate environment
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual in English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
