Job Description
Join the University of New Mexico - Hospitals as an RN in the Outpatient department to provide exceptional patient care in an ambulatory setting. With a focus on clinical leadership and patient education, you will play a vital role in enhancing patient outcomes and ensuring adherence to hospital policies.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process
Assist physician with special tests, procedures, and complex treatments
Document medical history and triage walk-in patients
Administer medications and perform routine treatments
Mentor staff and provide patient education
Required Qualifications
Program Graduate
Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
3 years directly related experience
Bilingual in English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
