Job Description
Join the University of New Mexico Hospitals as an RN Coordinator in Orthopedic Care, where you'll lead the planning and implementation of patient care in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities
Perform all RN Nursing duties
Coordinate all activities related to patient care
Serve as liaison between patient/family and healthcare team
Provide education and counseling to families
Facilitate delivery of services for optimal patient care
Collaborate with specialty team regarding patient candidacy
Conduct educational engagements for public relations
Provide statistical reports as needed
Coordinate diagnostic procedures post-surgery
Maintain departmental policies and procedures
Report and correct patient safety concerns
Required Qualifications
Program Graduate
3 years directly related experience
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Bilingual in English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo (2 years directly related experience)
