Job Description
The RN Coordinator for Orthopedic Care is responsible for managing and coordinating patient care in an ambulatory specialty practice. This role involves collaborating with healthcare teams, conducting educational sessions, and ensuring adherence to policies to optimize patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Perform all RN nursing duties and assist in the specialty clinic
Coordinate activities related to patient care
Serve as a liaison between patients/families and healthcare team
Counsel and teach families regarding medical conditions and interventions
Facilitate service delivery for optimal patient care
Collaborate with specialty team members about patient candidacy
Conduct educational engagements for public and professional purposes
Provide statistical reports as needed
Participate in educational opportunities and workshops
Manage patient care caseload pre and post-operative
Maintain departmental policies and procedures
Follow and improve patient safety protocols
Required Qualifications
Program Graduate
3 years directly related experience
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Bilingual (English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo)
2 years directly related experience
