Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures including portables and the OR
Follow prescribed techniques for administering x-rays and adjust equipment
Evaluate filming for technical qualities and provide corrective actions
Observe patients during procedures and document reactions
Complete and verify paperwork related to exams and patient education
Assist physicians with imaging processes and maintain quality control
Ensure radiation safety standards are followed
Assist with patient care and transport as needed
Instruct students and clinical staff as required
Participate in professional growth and educational programs
Required Qualifications
Program Graduate
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists License
NM Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Program License
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuer
