Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures including portables and the OR
Adjust equipment, calculate exposure factors, position and immobilize patients
Evaluate filming for technical qualities and provide corrective action
Document patient reactions or problems during procedures
Complete and verify all appropriate paperwork
Assist physician with imaging process and follow Radiology Department protocols
Maintain stock supply levels through inventory control
Instruct specific units of clinical education as required
Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs
Required Qualifications
Program Graduate
Comm on Allied Health (AMA) or Accredited ED Program
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists License
NM Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Program License
