Key Responsibilities
Provide educational leadership to enhance specialized patient care
Initiate unit-based strategies for developing clinical skills
Perform as a clinical instructor for students
Develop patient plans of care incorporating evidence-based research
Consult and serve as a clinical resource for multidisciplinary teams
Educate staff on the use of new equipment and training
Assist patients and caregivers with educational needs
Collaborate with educators and specialists to implement curricula
Monitor trends and implement educational strategies
Deliver safe direct care to assigned patients
Administer medication and document clinical findings
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN or MSN)
18 months directly related experience
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider certification within 30 days
Registered Nurse (RN) in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree
Bilingual in English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
3 years directly related experience
Current Instructor in BLS, ACLS, NRP or other instructor certification
