Key Responsibilities

  • Provide educational leadership to enhance specialized patient care
  • Initiate unit-based strategies for developing clinical skills
  • Perform as a clinical instructor for students
  • Develop patient plans of care incorporating evidence-based research
  • Consult and serve as a clinical resource for multidisciplinary teams
  • Educate staff on the use of new equipment and training
  • Assist patients and caregivers with educational needs
  • Collaborate with educators and specialists to implement curricula
  • Monitor trends and implement educational strategies
  • Deliver safe direct care to assigned patients
  • Administer medication and document clinical findings

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN or MSN)
  • 18 months directly related experience
  • CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider certification within 30 days
  • Registered Nurse (RN) in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree
  • Bilingual in English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
  • 3 years directly related experience
  • Current Instructor in BLS, ACLS, NRP or other instructor certification
