The Outpatient RN will provide safe, direct patient care in an ambulatory setting, offering clinical leadership and mentorship while ensuring adherence to hospital policies. This role includes patient education and support in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide safe, direct patient care utilizing the nursing process
Clinical leadership and mentorship for staff
Patient education for patients and family members
Assist physician with special tests and complex treatments
Document patient care and ensure follow-up on lab results
Participate in orientation and evaluation of new personnel
Promote patient safety and self-management
Required Qualifications
Program Graduate
Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Bilingual in English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
3 years directly related experience
