Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe direct care to assigned patients
  • Work within hospital and departmental policies
  • Implement and document individualized care plans
  • Assist with special tests and procedures
  • Participate in orientation and precepting of new personnel
  • Assist with emergency measures for adverse patient developments
  • Administer medication and document clinical findings
  • Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for patients
  • Enhance professional development through educational programs
  • Follow patient safety-related policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

  • Program Graduate
  • Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate
  • 1 year directly related experience
  • CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
  • RN in NM or reciprocal agreement by NM
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Bilingual (English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo)
  • 3 years directly related experience
  • Nationally Certified in area of specialty
  • PALS
  • TNCC and/or ENPC
