Job Description
Join the University of New Mexico - Hospitals as a Counselor Social Worker, where you'll provide essential therapeutic services to children and adolescents. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance the emotional health of families in a culturally responsive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide counseling, therapy, and psychotherapy to clients and families
Prepare treatment plans, discharge plans, and follow-up care programs
Consult with other therapists and professionals
Provide and arrange for therapeutic interventions, including crisis intervention
Refer clients to appropriate social service agencies
Collect and evaluate data about patients
Perform administrative functions and prepare reports
Provide case management of a specialized caseload
Promote best practices in treatment and patient safety
Required Qualifications
Master's Degree in a related discipline
LMSW or LPC or LMHC
Documented experience in age-appropriate environment
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual in English and Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
1 year directly related experience
