Key Responsibilities

  • Function as unit educator and master teacher
  • Develop patient plans of care incorporating evidenced-based research
  • Educate staff on new equipment and coordinate training
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for quality patient care
  • Deliver direct care to assigned patients
  • Monitor trends and implement educational strategies
  • Assist patients and caregivers with educational needs

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • BSN or MSN
  • 18 months directly related experience
  • CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
  • RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement
  • Instructor in Unit-Required Certifications within 90 Days

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree
  • Bilingual in English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
  • 3 years directly related experience
  • Current Instructor in BLS, ACLS, NRP or other instruct certification
