Key Responsibilities
Provide educational leadership to enhance specialized patient care
Initiate unit-based strategies for developing clinical skills
Develop patient plans of care incorporating evidenced-based research
Serve as a clinical resource for the multidisciplinary team
Educate staff in the use of new equipment and supplies
Assist patients with educational needs and health management
Collaborate with Clinical Educator and other nursing staff
Deliver safe direct care to assigned patients
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN or MSN)
18 months directly related experience
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM
Instructor in Unit-Required Certifications within 90 Days
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree
Bilingual in English and Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
3 years directly related experience
Current Instructor in BLS, ACLS, NRP or other instruct certification
