Job Description
Join Carrier as a Commercial HVAC Journeyman Service Technician, where you'll redefine service excellence and deliver reliable HVAC solutions. This role offers the chance to work in the field, utilizing your technical skills and problem-solving abilities in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect and maintain air-conditioning and HVAC systems
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical malfunctions
Install, replace, and calibrate HVAC equipment
Service refrigeration equipment
Maintain chilled and hot water supply systems
Assemble and install metal ductwork
Ensure compliance with regulations by maintaining detailed records
Identify and mitigate risks to maintain a safe working environment
Collaborate with management to support safety and operational standards
Required Qualifications
5+ years practical working experience in the HVAC Industry
Ability to Push / Pull / Lift 50lbs
Must be able to stand, crawl, sit, squat for extended periods, climb a ladder, and work on rooftops
High School Diploma/GED
Valid and current Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications
Basic understanding of building automation controls
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience using Salesforce and ServiceMax
Experience with Air Cooled and/or Water Cooled Chillers
