Key Responsibilities
Assist and train Technicians as needed
Provide customer service to daily customers
Give feedback to the Service Manager on employee performance
Oversee parts distribution and inventory
Manage shop reporting, warranty recovery, and payroll administration
Required Qualifications
18 years of age or older
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Basic tools required
Demonstrated aptitude and applied experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines
Routine preventative maintenance experience
Advanced skilled level repairs including major engine repairs
Four (4) years or more relevant work experience
Must be able to read codes and instructions on the computer
Must have computer experience in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and related software
Valid Driver's License and ability to meet Ryder's driving qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
Vocational or Technical Certification
Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A
Minimum of 6 months supervisory or training experience
