Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist and train Technicians as needed
  • Provide customer service to daily customers
  • Give feedback to the Service Manager on employee performance
  • Oversee parts distribution and inventory
  • Manage shop reporting, warranty recovery, and payroll administration

Required Qualifications

  • 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Basic tools required
  • Demonstrated aptitude and applied experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines
  • Routine preventative maintenance experience
  • Advanced skilled level repairs including major engine repairs
  • Four (4) years or more relevant work experience
  • Must be able to read codes and instructions on the computer
  • Must have computer experience in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and related software
  • Valid Driver's License and ability to meet Ryder's driving qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Vocational or Technical Certification
  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A
  • Minimum of 6 months supervisory or training experience
