Job Description
Join a mission-driven outpatient palliative care team as a Registered Nurse, providing compassionate and expert care to improve quality of life for patients with serious illnesses. You will utilize your clinical skills and mentor staff while ensuring adherence to best practices in patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide safe, direct patient care utilizing the nursing process
Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to staff
Administer medications and perform routine treatments
Assist physicians with special tests, procedures, and complex treatments
Document nursing care and ensure physician's orders are carried out
Participate in orientation and evaluation of new personnel
Ensure patient safety and adherence to hospital policies
Required Qualifications
Program Graduate
Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate
CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days
RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Bilingual in English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
3 years of directly related experience
