Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the practice management specialist for acquisition and succession planning
  • Provide guidance to buyers and sellers in acquisition processes
  • Deliver presentations and workshops for advisors
  • Build a comprehensive business toolkit for advisors
  • Support Business Development team's practice management coaching programs
  • Develop expertise in MassMutual’s advisor platform

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8+ years’ experience in financial services or serving small business owners
  • 3+ years of experience working with financial advisors
  • Willingness to travel approximately 10-20% of the time
  • Ability to pass a non-registered fingerprinted background check

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA)
  • 2+ years of experience in acquisition or succession planning
  • Deep understanding of issues facing financial advisors as small business owners
  • Advanced expertise in practice acquisitions and succession planning
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
  • Strong presentation skills in live and virtual formats
  • Ability to communicate nuanced concepts
  • Team player comfortable working independently
